How we handle your data

Founders paste sensitive ideas, team details, and unvalidated assumptions into this tool. Here is exactly what happens to that information.

Accounts

Required. You sign up with an email and password. We use your email to confirm your account and sign you in, nothing else.

Where your work is stored

In your account, in our cloud database (Supabase). Your analyses are protected by row-level security, so only you, signed in, can read your own data.

Where evaluations run

Anthropic's API. Each evaluation sends your inputs to Anthropic's model. We do not relay your content through any other third party.

Uploaded business plans & pitch decks

Read in memory on our server only to extract the text, then the file is discarded immediately. The file itself is never saved. The extracted text is saved with your analysis in your account, like everything else you enter.

What we store

Your account email and the analyses you create: your idea text, the text from any document you upload, and the AI's responses. We do not log this content anywhere else, and we never sell or share it.

Data retention

Your analyses stay in your account until you delete them. Deleting a session removes it from our database. Deleting your account removes your data.

Third parties

Supabase (account sign-in and database hosting), Anthropic (the AI that runs the evaluations), and SendGrid (sends the one-time account-confirmation email). No one else.

AI training

CEO Syndicate runs on Anthropic's commercial API. Under Anthropic's commercial terms, the inputs and outputs sent through the API are not used to train their models. Anthropic's own privacy policy governs what they do with that data.

Sharing

No automatic sharing. Any future shared links will be opt-in only.

Anthropic's API is the only outbound destination for the content you analyze. You can delete any analysis from your dashboard, and it is removed from our database immediately and irreversibly.
